Sprayability for field trials
A sprayability field trial may meet regulatory targets when these have not been achieved in standard tests relating to sprayability, such as suspensibility (CIPAC MT 184), wet sieve (MT 184) and persistent foam (MT 47) tests.
The study takes place in field conditions, with the product sprayed at its lowest and highest intended concentrations.
Flow through the nozzle from a full, part-full and nearly empty tank is monitored, samples of the sprayed product are collected and the quantity of sprayed active ingredient is determined.
