We offer a range of in vitro cytotoxicity and mutagenicity assays for testing on aerosolized compounds. Using specialist equipment, we can generate smoke or vapor from tobacco products for testing either in aerosol form or as total particulate matter (TPM)/aerosol collected matter or gas vapor phase (GVP) for testing as liquids. Our purpose-built gas testing chamber allows us to test gaseous compounds either neat or in dilution with compressed air directly onto the test system. We also have the capability to generate liquid aerosol from liquids and suspensions using the Vitrocell® Cloud system and test aerosols from powders with an RGB generator, enabling a more relevant testing environment.
Our team has extensive experience utilizing 3D tissue models both to GLP or with a research and development approach for novel endpoints. GLP methods include testing for cytotoxicity and oxidative stress. Listed below are the most common assays we run:
