Dr. Allan Watkinson, Director Biopharm Development CMC, Scientific Affairs 

Dr. Allan Watkinson is a member of Labcorp Scientific Affairs team and is responsible for driving strategy and innovation in Biopharmaceutical CMC Services, as well as providing scientific support for clients. He has a BSc (biochemistry) from the University of Leeds and a PhD (physiological biochemistry) from the Imperial College of London. Allan also completed 10 years of postdoctoral academic experience in research and development at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, and at the University of Liverpool.

Over the last 20 years, Allan has been involved in biopharmaceutical research and development, specializing in vaccine development as well as formulation, analytics, cGMP manufacturing, and stability testing. He is an author on several peer-reviewed scientific papers and patents, including publications on vaccine analysis and formulation.
