Imaging analysis: Digital pathology
Image analysis or histomorphometry using the Visiopharm® platform. The use of image processing techniques allows for the extraction of meaningful information from scanned brightfield or fluorescent digital images to allow for the quantification of target markers from immunohistochemistry to enumerate cells and their area or spatial relationship to other cell(s) or tissue structures. In addition, region(s) of interest can also be analyzed for a range of other pathology endpoints.
