Crop residue studies
Crop residue studies, also known as crop field trials (OECD Test no. 509), determine the pesticide residue levels in crops, crucial for animal and human health protection. The residue range, rate of residue decline, values such as the Supervised Trial Median Residue (STMR) and Highest Residue (HR) for conducting dietary risk assessment and maximum residue limits (MRLs) are calculated.
